broadband phone adapters
my internet gets disconected when i answer the phone?

i have two phones on one line one in the kitchen and one in the lounge with the broadband moden pluged into a double adapter with the lounge phone when i use the internet and someone else answers the phone in the kitchen it gets disconected but if i answer the lounge phone its fine i don’t know how to set it up so if anyone answers any phones it doesn’t get disconnected.

You probably need a filter on the kitchen line. When I connected to broadband they asked me if I had any other phone lines in the house. Call your broadband provider and ask them about it.

broadband router linksys rt31p2
How do I set up a wireless router with a regular router? Details inside.?

Ok, I have a D-Link (Dl-524) wireless router, set up to a Linksys Rt31p2 (broadband phone port-vonage router) which is then plugged into a RCA comcast modem.

I can get online in the current situations (wireless and hardwire) but for some reason I can not set up my xbox 360 online. The xbox 360 is connected with a WGA54G wireless bridge and I have a feeling they are not all set up right to have the same information. I also can not make a home network with this situation. I have a feeling my xbox 360 is only picking up my Dlink information, and not my linksys router information.

I am not good in all of the networking terms so take it easy on me. If you have any idea what I am talking about let me know. If you have an idea on what I am saying but I’m screwing it all up, then let me know too, haha.

Thanks all.

Its sounds like you have a double routing problem. The xbox 360 is probably confused by thinking the dlink is the final router be for hitting the internet. you need to go into the internal configuration of the dlink router at http://192.168.0.1 username: admin password: and turn off DHCP which is probably under lan configuration. Then connect connect the dlink to the linksys router with a cable USING TWO LAN PORTS. The cable should connect a lan on the dlink to a lan port on the linksys.

Doing this will basiclly turn the dlink into a access point/ switch instead of.
