Will Virgin mobile broadband work on a Mac?

I’m interested on buying mobile broadband for my laptop which is a Mac( non intel), the virgin mobile site says that the USB device is compatible with Mac OS 10.3 and later, but the FAQ’s says that the Broadband2go it’s not Mac compatible. I’m really confused. Could I just activate the service on my desktop computer which is a PC and just connect on my Mac?

If the requirements specify that this will not work on a mad, it simpy wont work on a mac. The reason for this is as follows: The dongle has software which needs to run on your PC to allow the broadband connection to work. If the software on the dongle is not comparible with a mac, the dongle wont work. However I have looked at their site and can’t find any referance to them saying it wont work. If it doesn’t ask for your money back on the grounds of false advertising.
