Why isnt my phone working ?
If my phone is plugged in , my broadband internet telephone cable does not work and no adsl signal is recieved
When i unplug my phone the internet works fine
So basically they dont work together , but work seperately fine.
Ive tried all of the various points in this old house to see if the situation improves but it does not
Does anyone have the answer and solution to this.
The whole phone system seems to be one extention on top of another .
THE PHONE WITH NO FILTER IN THE LINE WILL SHORT CIRCUIT THE HIGH FREQENCY DIGITAL TO THE COMPUTER. LOOK AT THE URL THAT I SHOW AND YOU SEE THAT YOU WILL NEED A FILTER TO PREVENT THE DIGITAL FROM GOING TO THE PHONE. YOU CAN PICK UP ONE AT RADIO SHACK OR ANY PHONE SERVICEMAN.
