How do you configure the Broadband Blaster modem for At&t DSL?
Can someone please tell me how to do this, before I have a stroke?! I am trying to setup my Broadband Blaster DSL modem for my AT&T internet service. They won’t tell me how because it’s not one of their “chosen 3″ modems, but this one was A LOT cheaper. Any help would be great!!!
It”s easy .Get your AT&T email address from your telephone bill or from the tech support who will also give you help you in finding the password . After that you need to login to the modem .You can do this by typing IPCONFIG in the command prompt, then type the default gateway address in browser usually Internet Explorer Login to the modem using the username and password” ADMIN” if this doesn’t work refer to the user manual for the password. After this update the email address and password in the modem once this is done You can go online , if you cannot do this you can check the manufacturers website or contact their tech support . Remember All this will happen only if AT&T authenticates your session using the mail address and password . If they authenticate using the MAC address of the modem then you have no choice but to get a modem from AT&T to go online with .The probability for the latter is very low but it’s not zero.All the Best
