Am I allowed to lower my Mobile Broadband Internet allowance?
I’ve just bought mobile broadband from T-Mobile and have found that, in my area, the bandwith speed is grotesquely slow (20kb/sec!) – thus I have decided that I will lower my plan from 5GB to 1GB, that should cut down at least an extra £10 a month (a neighbour in my vicinity does not mind me sharing his cable broadband!). I have a 24-month contract with T-mobile, does that mean that I am bound to stay with the ‘plan’ of 5GB, or can I lower it (and therefore the cost)?
Thanks for any help.
Regards,
Hadrian.
I think you will have to stay on the plan. If you change it I think that they will still charge you for the 24 Months to break the contract.
